Making a convertible the hard way
This picture is not a fake or a practice drill. The car was not lifted up by
the air bags you can see under it.
A truck hauling three telephone poles had stalled in traffic on Waukesha's east
side.
Four teenage girls were inside the car and not really paying attention to the
road.
The vehicle drove right into the poles and turned the car into a convertible.
No one was injured.
The Park Theatre fire downtown Waukesha
This fire had burned out of control for a while, because fire
fighters couldn't get to the
heart of the fire. They also didn't want to risk any injuries or
life for an abandon building. A staff
photographer from the Waukesha Freeman and the Milwaukee Journal
newspapers left and went home.
Shorty after they left all hell broke out and the fire popped
through the roof.
That created this exclusive picture, of the one time jewel
theatre of the city.
Telephone Pole Explodes
This telephone was hit by lightning and actually exploded at least three times.
The first time which prompted the call. The second time as I was driving up to
the scene and
the third time I caught on film. The explosion was so bright it left a
reflection mark on the picture,
just below the street light. I all my years of shooting pictures and looking
at pictures,
I've never seen another picture like it.
